I had led down the foundation of M/s General Maritime (Pvt.) Ltd in early nineties. We have come a long way to be where we are today now it become General Group of Companies. General Group of Companies is providing optimal logistics solutions to its clients, through a wide range of products and services like Ocean, Air, Road and Rail, Global Consolidation, Liner Agencies, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management, Custom Clearance, Exhibition Cargo Handling, Stevedoring, Chartering, Ship Chandler and various other value-added services.

In 2013, I established M/s Shipco Transport Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. and entered into a joint venture with M/s Shipco Transport Inc. a subsidiary of Scan-Group and has organically grown into one of the world’s leading neutral NVOCCs. Shipco Transport Inc. headquarter in Chatham, New Jersey is operating more than 75 offices worldwide and employs over 2200 people, covering all major trade lane. Our company’s truly intermodal character offering Air Freight, LCL and FCL Ocean Freight services, uniquely positions Shipco as a ‘one stop’ provider of worldwide transportation solutions.

We have encountered numerous trials and hardships during the process of Pakistan’s reform. However, there is still much more to be achieved in the years ahead. The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) appointed me as “Convenor” of FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Maritime &
Gwadar Development.

My aim to play an active role on different forum for the benefit of Freight Forwarders/Shipping Agents/CFS and seek development for a better future.
