Khurram Mohammad Qamar, is currently the Director External Affairs at Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited (PMPKL). He joined PMPKL in 2009 and since then has assumed roles of increasing responsibilities in the areas of Finance, Business Process Integration, Compliance and Corporate Affairs. In 2015, he moved to the regional headquarters in Hong Kong and was then transferred to Malaysia, after which he returned to Pakistan as Director External Affairs.

Khurram is also a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and a life-time member of the Sindh High Court Bar Association. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). Based on his diverse experience, leadership, creativity and proven strategic management skills, Khurram seeks to promote business interests of US-based companies to support Pakistan’s socio-economic development. On a personal level, he is a vintage car enthusiast and enjoys handmade cigars.

Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited (PMPKL), is an affiliate of Philip Morris International Inc. (PMI), is a public limited company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Philip Morris International acquired a majority stake in a local business in 2007. Currently, PMPKL has a tobacco-leaf threshing plant, two cigarette manufacturing factories, sales offices across the country, and employs around 960 people. In addition to this, the Company is actively engaged in undertaking various corporate social initiatives in education, women empowerment and environmental sustainability in order to contribute towards the welfare of the communities in which it operates.
