Jamal Mir is a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles, (UCLA) – 1983. High School Diploma from Karachi American School – 1978.

Jamal has Professional Affiliations with Member Advertising Association of Pakistan (AAP) – Vice Chairman (2009-) of International Advertising Association. (IAA). Served as Media Consultant for Pakistan Cricket Board – (PCB) 2000-2001. In Marketing Association of Pakistan. (MAP) he has served as Council Member. He is the ABC Member Executive Committee and Chairman Media, PR, Programs, Membership & Admin Committee since 2009.

Effective September 1st, 2015, Sami Ahmed has been appointed as the County Manager for P&G Pakistan. Sami transitions into this role after successfully completing multiple assignments for Procter & Gamble’s Arabian Peninsula and Pakistan business based out of Dubai. Sami has over fifteen years of experience working in marketing and brand operations for P&G. Sami leads the marketing and brand building for all P&G brands, categories, and business units in Middle East and Pakistan. Sami oversees P&G’s marketing teams in Jeddah, Dubai and Karachi and he is responsible for brand building activities including TV, digital, in-store, direct-to-consumer, promotions, and public relations.

Previously, Sami was the managing director for P&G Prestige in the Middle East and Africa. He managed P&G’s luxury business for the region, including all commercial, sales and marketing responsibilities for brands including Hugo Boss, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Lacoste.

Sami has also led the Female Beauty business in the GCC and Pakistan as an Associate Marketing Director. He led the overall Haircare, Skincare, Colour, Styling, and Hair Removal businesses for brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Olay, Camay, Wella and Safeguard.

Sami was born and raised in Pakistan, and joined P&G as an Assistant Brand Manager in 1999 after completing his MBA. Sami is a graduate of Pakistan’s Institute of Business Administration and has both a BBA (Hons) and MBA in Marketing and General Management

  • Farrokh K Captain received both his Bachelors and Master degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
  • Worked as a Management Consultant with Arthur D. Little in the USA, and then went on to establish their practice in Pakistan.
  • Since then he has led Captain-PQ Chemical Industries Limited, a major US-Pakistan joint venture Chemical manufacturing business in Pakistan, as Chairman and Managing Director.

  • Senior Director of Shell Pakistan Limited where he is presently serving his twenty-fifth year as an elected representative of the minority shareholders.
  • An active member of Pakistan Civil Society. Farrokh is a Trustee of the Layton Rehmatulla Benevolent Trust: a much renowned chain of 16 hospitals for curable blindness spread throughout Pakistan, and which to date has treated 30 million patients, free of charge.

Mr. Nadeem Elahi

Nadeem Elahi is the Managing Director & Country Head for Pakistan for The Resource Group (TRG). Nadeem has an extensive background in operations, general management and business development. Nadeem is one of the co-founders of TRG and prior to moving to Pakistan he served as TRG’s head of North American Operations, based on Washington, DC. Prior to TRG, he was an Associate in the Global Business Development Group at Terra Lycos Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts, where he assisted in financial due-diligence on acquisition targets in Asia/Pacific. He also co-founded FTA Direct Inc, a provider of internet-based, supply-chain solutions for the global textiles industry, based in New York.

Nadeem was one of the founding members of OPEN (Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America), Washington, DC Chapter. He is the current President of the Harvard Business School Club of Pakistan, Member of the Board of Directors of OPEN-Karachi Chapter and a member of the Corporate Leaders Advisory Board of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. Nadeem is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization-Pakistan Chapter (YPO).

Nadeem has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A in Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, USA.

Mr. Irshad Ali Shaban Ali Kassim

Irshad Ali Shaban Ali Kassim is the Chairman of Karam Ceramics Ltd., since 1984 till to-date. Currently he has business affiliations with Chairman, Karam Green Energy, Director, Industrial Promotion Services (Pakistan) Ltd., Director, Sigma Corporation (Pvt) Limited (2012 to date), ABC Executive Committee member (2012-2014). He is the past Director of KASB Bank Ltd (from 2006 to 2012), Shakarganj Foods Products Ltd (from 2008 to 2010) and past President of ABC in 2000-2001.

He is actively involved in Leadership & Honorary Services as Member of Governing Body’s of The Aga Khan Hospital & Medical College Foundation and he is also Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan for Pakistan in Karachi from 2010 till to date.

Irshad also contributes in Social Activities. He is Member BOG of Kidney Centre of Pakistan from 1996 till to date; Member, Young Presidents Organization (YPO) / WPO, Member, Lady Dufferrin Hospital, Member, Civil Hospital Burn Centre and Founder Member of Special Olympics, Pakistan.

Imran Nasrullah

Imran Nasrullah is currently CEO and President Director Cargill Pakistan and a Director at Cargill Asia Pacific Singapore. Imran took on this new role in January 2018. In this role he overseas the business in Pakistan and has regional responsibilities in the grain and oilseeds business in Asia.

From 2014 to 2017 Imran was CEO President Director Louis Dreyfus Company Indonesia and led and managed a diverse and complex business environment with business interest in Palm. Bio diesel, coffee, sugar, grains, Cotton, metals and dairy. Imran has negotiated acquisitions and joint venture buy outs, restructuring, long term supply agreements, infrastructure investments, sustainable supply chain management and critically long term financing for plantation expansions. In this context, JV partner selection and inside network knowledge and industry understanding is key to visible long term partnerships. Imran sat on the Palm oil and Coffee working groups of Partnership for Indonesia Sustainable Agriculture (PisAgro) and also worked closely with the Grow Asia form and the World Economic Forum Asia chapters and the Responsible business forum, representing the LDC group at the Forums across Asia.

Prior to this role Imran had a 15 year career at Cargill, with his last role being that of a Sales and Business Development Director for Freight, Metals and Energy business units in Singapore. Imran also led the chartering desk within Cargill Ocean transportation having earlier served as financial controller and director for the newly established Cargill Ocean Transportation business in August 2006.

Imran joined Cargill In in 1999 in Minneapolis and moved to Singapore in 2003.

Prior to Cargill Imran had worked in KPMG in Singapore and earlier with a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in London.

Imran is a Singaporean citizen and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and also an MBA from Imperial College London

Khurram Mohammad Qamar

Khurram joined PMPKL in 2009 and since then has assumed roles of increasing responsibilities in the areas of Finance, Business Process Integration, Compliance and Corporate Affairs. After completing senior executive roles in Philip Morris Hong Kong and Malaysia, he returned to Pakistan as Director Corporate Affairs.

He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). Khurram is also a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and a life-time member of the Sindh High Court Bar Association.

Based on his diverse experience, leadership, creativity and proven strategic management skills, Khurram seeks to promote business interests of US-based companies to support Pakistan’s socio-economic development.

Adnan Asad is the CEO of the Venus group of companies. He has a Bachelors and Masters from Florida USA.

Venus Group business operates in 6 countries, USA, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and UAE.
The Group is involved is several activities which are fully integrated. Consolidation and Freight Forwarding from USA, clearing and Forwarding in Pakistan, Bonded Warehouse, Intercity Logistics Warehouses in 5 major Cities, and Direct Distribution to end users in the Food Service Sector.

Venus Group is exclusive logistic partners of McDonald’s Pakistan and manufactures desserts, creams , produces both dairy and nondairy ice cream, tissue products and packaged ice cubes.

The group also has further expansion plans and is expected to produce cheese, jams and paper cups by march 2019. They also have plans to set up a gold Private jet service center in Karachi.

The Group has franchisees for cold stone, Texas chicken and licensee for Eclipse Jets for the region.

They have their own container terminal in west wharf with plans to convert it into a container freight station.
